Job Description

This is a full-time position.

Job Duties will include but are limited to:

Posting daily charges, insurance payments electronically and manually

Follow up on outstanding balances for patients.

Surgery verification benefits and scheduling

Verification of DME benefits and prior authorization.

Assist with all other front office duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and patient check-out, taking payments over the phone and in-person, etc. as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience :

A friendly, presentable, professional, detail-oriented individual is required.
You will need to be able to get along with others in a small office setting.
Prior medical office experience and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance is preferable.
Excellent computer skills are required.
Living close to the office is preferable.
Experience with other systems utilized in our office is a plus: Relay Health, Revenue Management and Microsoft Office.
