East Central Florida Site Contractor is Hiring a Land Surveyor Near Smyrna, FL

East Central Florida Site Contractor based in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking high energy, self-motivated and experienced Licensed Surveyor to join a team of career and quality minded individuals for challenging projects.

Work schedule is customarily Monday - Friday, flexibility to adjust to specific project demands are desired

Responsibilities

· Leads, Organizes, Schedules, and Mentors survey crews.

· Coordinates layout and as built needs with office and field staff

· Assists with producing layout data for field crews

· Solves problems in the field.

· Assists with producing CAD drawings (record drawings & as-builts) and files using reduced survey field data, field sketches and third party drawings, reports, etc...

· Understands / learns (as needed) as-built requirements depending on jurisdiction.

· Reviews and certifies as built drawings.

· Monitors work and adheres to deadlines

· Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets

Experience with Software:

· AutoCAD Civil 3D

· Topcon software

Other Requirements

· MUST POSSESS VALID SURVEYOR LICENSE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA

· Must have civil construction experience

· Must meet expectations for attendance

· Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be willing to travel from time to time

Work Environment

· Office and field position

The primary work area is Volusia and Flagler County. We perform work from Edgewater to Palm Coast and as far West as Sanford. The majority of our current projects are in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and Deland. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,500.00 per week
