Responsibilities:
- Create a comfortable and uplifting experience for each customer
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including transits vans, sedans and SUV
- Make sure customers get to thier appointments in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Use wheel chair ramps and other equipment to move and accommodate
- Follow transportation schedules and routes as assigned
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate records of rides, mileage, and fuel usage
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Uber driver or courier preferred
- wheelchair securement experience
- defensive driving course
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to assist disabled passengers and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
