ECU is looking for a full-time Financial Service Representative, who is looking to give our members a great experience. - Performs branch opening and/or closing procedures while adhering to all security policies.
- Approves transactions within assigned authority level while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
- Cross sells ECU products and services.
- Assist members with opening accounts and loans.
- Accurately and efficiently process members financial transactions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders and cash advances.
- Handle member questions and concerns professionally.
- Provide a great experience to each and every member.
- Understanding of credit union operations.
- Balance cash drawer daily.
- Learn and continually improve as a Financial Service Representative.
- Follow credit union policies and procedures.
- Staying current on credit union products and services and upselling.
Schedule/Location:
- Available Monday thru Friday 8:45 to 5 (at times 6).
- Saturday’s 7:45 am to 1 pm
- Available to work at any of our 5 locations (Oswego, North Aurora, Yorkville, Aurora and Montgomery)
Requirements
- High School degree preferred.
- 2 years Financial Service Representative or Teller experience.
- Ability to operate computers and business equipment.
- Good math skills
- Dependable
- Cash handling skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
