We are currently looking for a Marketing (Proposal) Coordinator to work out of our Corporate office in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA! Do you have experience in the AEC Industry? Are you skilled in responding to requests for qualifications (RFQs)? Do you thrive working as a team to meet proposal deadlines? We would love to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with technical and professional staff to produce proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) in response to RFPs and RFQs, including writing proposal response text.
• Responsible for accurate layout, completion, and submittal of SOQs and other business opportunities.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating company CRM, databases of resumes, project summaries, photographs, and employee certifications.
• Assist in the production of the company newsletter, event planning, and presentations.
• Assists in planning marketing strategies and objectives, participate in new market research, opportunities, design, and preparation of marketing reports.
• Seek, compile, and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials.
• Update and organize the proposal library of published materials and proposal content.
• Special assignments as required.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in English, Engineering, Business, Communications or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional written communication and editing / storytelling skills. 
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to adjust schedule as necessary to complete deadlines.
• 3 years’ experience in bid response role, preferably in the AEC industry with proposal writing experience.
