We’re looking to add a talented Temporary Social Media Coordinator to our team. This position is responsible for coordinating social media campaigns and strategies in support of the organization.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, preferred
• Associate degree and 4 year of relevant experience, required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of design product tools

What You Will Do (Summary):

§ Coordinate clear and compelling content for social media, website, and other platforms.

§ Manage social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages

§ Creating/designing presentations, flyers, and social media posts

§ Use analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the organization

§ Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors

§ Assist with communications action plans as needed

§ Assist with and attend various events and activities

§ Assist with management of Constant Contact, Canva, SharePoint, Zoom, website, newsletter, annual report, and other approved publications, etc.

§ Responsible for ensuring appropriate use of all resources by immediately reporting suspected fraud (internal and/or external) via ELC established Fraud Reporting Procedure

§ Participate as directed in all ELC quality improvement efforts to achieve optimum organizational performance

• Contact a manager immediately in the event an allegation of abuse, neglect, or exploitation is received
• Perform other job duties as assigned

The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend Region, Inc. (ELC) is a local non-profit organization with an annual budget of $43 million. The ELC’s mission is to provide leadership and advocacy that builds a community where all children are prepared for success in school. ELC’s core values: positive attitude, accountability, respect, and teamwork.

Position: Limited term (3 months). 40 Hours, weekly.

Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour.

Benefits: Hybrid; Remote.
