Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational experience for our young learners. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that feels like a home away from home for toddlers.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
• Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and active engagement.
• Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring a safe and hygienic space for toddlers.
• Observe and assess children's developmental progress
• Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and participate in activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Stay updated on early childhood education best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Toddler Teacher in an early childhood education setting.
• ECE credentials obtained, or willing to continue education
• Strong passion for early learning and child development.
• Exceptional nurturing, caring, and personable qualities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements for childcare providers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
