Early Bird Pediatric Therapy is Hiring a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Near El Paso, TX

Early Bird Pediatric Therapy is currently seeking a part-time or contracted BCBA to conduct evaluations and/or provide supervision for a small caseload. Schedule will depend on need and availability of clients.

Summary and Objectives:

· Administrative Responsibilities (Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following):

o Billable standard: Flexible based on clinician

o Communicate effectively with Program Manager, other members of the clinical team (BCBAs, BCaBAs, Interns, RBTs, other mediators), as well as with the clients’ families.

o Receive supervision from the Program Manager for each client they work with monthly.

o Assist in the dissemination goals of Early Bird Pediatrics by participating and/or assisting in trainings, presentations, and other ABA based activities within the community.

o Attend monthly staff meetings.

· Clinical Responsibilities: (Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:)

o Develop individualized, culturally responsive, and behavior-analytic treatment programs for each client.

o Conduct ethical and effective functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and Functional analysis (FAs) in a timely manner for each client.

o Assist with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ALFS, PEAK or other curriculum assessments adopted by Early Bird Pediatrics.

o Write and maintain technological positive behavior support plans for clients, oversee assessments, plan development, monthly graphs, progress reports and ongoing program data analysis to ensure maximum student progress.

o Provide supervision of behavior technicians working with clients, program modification and treatment plan training for no less than 20% of the client’s programmed hours.

o Implement 1:1 behavioral intervention programming to assigned clients.

o Provide billable hours that meet the requirements set forth by the program and funding sources and client needs.

o Assist with daily changes and updates to schedule as children and/or staff are out due to illness, vacation, etc.

o Prepare social skills, circle time, gross motor, natural environment teaching, etc.

o Delegate stimuli prep to behavior technicians as time allows

· Qualifications, Requirements and Skills:

o Required Education and Skills:

§ Education: Bachelor's Degree

§ License/Certification: Texas License and BCaBA Certifications

§ 8-hour supervision course

o Preferred Education and Experience

§ At least one year one of experience providing ABA supervision to RBT’s and/or BCaBA’s.

o Ability to work effectively/positively with parents to improve the quality of life of their children

o Ability to have a positive relationship with families, children, staff, and others from diverse backgrounds

o Ability to give and receive feedback from peers and supervisory staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
