Must be at least 18 years old
Commitment to high standards
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Some heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
Stack clean dishes on racks, ensuring that clean water and detergent are used in the dishwasher, delivering clean dishes to designated areas for use as time permits, rinsing bus buckets, cleaning, and drying of pots, pans, utensils, dough boxes, trash removal, and general cleaning of the work area
Dishwashers also may be needed to receive, unload, and rotate products from vendors
General location maintenance also may be required
Assist cooks with prep as needed
Prepares the dishwashing machine for daily activity by opening and visually inspection the machine for cracked or broken equipment and/or dishes as designated
Identifies broken and/ or cracked dishes and discards in the appropriate location
Monitors dishwashing machine for correct operation and reports machine malfunction and/ or failure promptly
Cleaning dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at the close of business day
