The Corporate Trainer & System Application Support will collaborate with corporate trainers to design, develop, deliver, and monitor training and curriculum related to clinical and clerical support staff functions done at Eagle offices. Assist Systems Application Specialist, CQIO, and Director of Process Improvement and Clinical Applications to provide analysis, support, coordination, implementation, ongoing management of EMR systems. 3 years experience working in a medical office is required. Prior clinical experience in outpatient medical office as well as experience developing educational systems and related training materials to various staff members with differing levels of education and learning styles is strongly preferred. Bonus Amounts are $750.00 at 6 months, $750.00 at 12 months, $1,000.00 at 18 months and $1,000.00 at 24 months.Paid Maternity/Paternity leave– Eagle provides up to 2 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave after 1 year employed and 1,250 hours worked for the birth or adoption of a child. Schedule subject to change as indicated by manager.Key Responsibilities:Assist corporate trainers in formulating, design, coordinate and deliver direct clerical and clinical support training to all providers, clerical, and clinical support personnel throughout Eagle in accordance with Eagle standards. This duty involves training individuals who already possess established clinical/clerical competencies via their license, certification, or registration in “the Eagle way” of doing things.Assist corporate trainers in formulating, design, coordinate and deliver direct clerical and clinical support training to all providers, clinical, and clerical support personnel throughout Eagle in accordance with Eagle standards. This duty involves training individuals who do not possess established clinical competencies or whose clinical competencies are incomplete / insufficient by Eagle’s standards. Such staff may include (but aren’t limited to) CNA’s, pharmacy techs, EMT’s, military medics and individuals with no previous clinical training. After completion of clinical competency training, this duty also involves training staff in “the Eagle way” of doing things.Assist corporate trainers in consulting and provide expert advice to management regarding training, development, and learning.Assist in appraising employee knowledge, productivity, and efficiency for the purposes of creating or altering training to meet goals.Assist in creating and documenting processes including training manuals, workflows, “tips” and updates. Work closely and communicate often with the corporate trainers and each site administrator and/or department leader regarding staff training successes and roadblocks.Maintain training records for all employees and compile reports and statistics for review by various stakeholders. Create and maintain clinical competency checklists on all trainees.Analyze the effectiveness of training to employees and develop appropriate modifications if needed.Collaborate with Eagle leaders to identify training needs and gaps and schedule appropriate training to employees.Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.Assist employees with problems concerning how to perform specific tasks related to their positions. Assist the CQIO, Director of Process Improvement & Clinical Applications, and Systems Application Specialist with eCW applications and Microsoft Office support.Assist in updating pharmacy list in eCW.Creates and upholds redundancy/ succession planning through the creation of written protocols and instructions of assigned tasks, duties and responsibilities which is published to the supervisor and updated quarterly.Set up security / permissions on practice management and EMR system. Assist in handling day-to-day trouble shooting for eCW applications. i.e., unlocking notes / labs, manage securities, and assisting with setting up new providers and staff. Enter eCW tickets and follow up on those in a timely manner with eCW and staff. Assist in scheduled upgrades and patches (may require weekend work). Writes legibly and with correct grammar and sentence structure.Engage in other projects and duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed: Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize, engage in tasks and training and set goals.Creative problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs of diverse learners.High level of proficiency in adult education and education learning theories to implement effective training.High level of expert proficiency and competency in all clinical support functions of a medical office to include (but not limited to) medical assisting / nursing, x-ray, phlebotomy, lab, and telehealth.Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to inspire, motivate and engage learners.Well versed with different educational approaches to varied roles and delivery systems, including e-learning, didactic and hands-on instruction.Ability to be direct, delivering honest and timely feedback regarding trainee errors or incorrect application of processes – embraces confrontation, when needed, as necessary element of effective training.Good research skills to perform advanced and analytical research to find reliable and relevant content for learners.Has professional and business-like image and demeanor internally and externally.Maintains expert knowledge of Eagle’s EMR eClinicalWorks.Ability to embody Eagle’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies, embracing, celebrating and including all individuals of all diversity dimensions.Knowledge of medical practice and care to assist in giving patient care.
