HSE Manager
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in addition to Freudenberg HSE policies and procedures.
Conducts HSE inspections, audits, and assessments for site installations, technical equipment, and HSE prevention measures
Develops HSE training-concepts and instruction methods for employees while fostering a positive safety culture
Operates in collaboration Corporate HSE, site Medical Staff, and HSE authorities
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and regulatory permits.
Lead investigations into workplace accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
BS in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
5 years’ experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry best practices.
Strong leadership and communications skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach.
Innovation: Drives and supports innovative ideas, while taking informed risks to seek and develop new or improved solutions.
