Key responsibilities of a Structural Applications Engineer may include:

1. Designing and analyzing structures: They create structural designs using engineering principles and software tools, considering factors like materials, loads, and safety regulations.
2. Conducting feasibility studies: Before starting a project, they assess the feasibility of structural designs, considering factors such as budget, timeline, and available resources.

4. Selecting materials: They choose appropriate materials for construction based on factors such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Structural, Civil or Mechanical)
• Current EIT or ability to obtain within 9 months
• Minimum three years’ experience in the building products industry
• Must be self-motivated, creative, and willing to learn and adapt
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and the integration of the façade to the structure
