Acquisition Program Analyst, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the Tactical Airlift Program Office’s (PMA-207) KC-130 and Fixed Wing Airlift/Operations Support Aircraft (VR/OSA) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Duties primarily involve supporting related program/project acquisition tasking, to include assisting with development, modification, and tracking of Program Initiation Documents (PID); assisting IPTs with procurement planning efforts including conducting Procurement Planning Conferences (PPCs); analyzing PID data for accuracy and completeness; and preparing, planning, and generating acquisition documentation and briefing materials. Other duties include collecting, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, production, and sustainment programs; and applying government-instituted processes for program documentation, procurement planning, and acquisition support. Qualifications & Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS degree and three (3) to ten (10) years of experience within DoD program/project analysis related activities. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of experience.
• Must have an active Secret level DoD security clearance.
• Experience with the Acquisition Management System’s (AMS) Procurement Management Tool (PMT) and MS Office Products is required.
