Eagle's Nest Early Learning Center and Preschool is Hiring a Child Care Center Director Near Murphy, NC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and experienced Child Care Director to oversee our child care center. The Child Care Director will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the center, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and providing a nurturing and educational environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NC licensing regulations and requirements
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate child care staff
- Create and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment for children
- Collaborate with parents to address their concerns and provide updates on their child's progress and development
- Oversee planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational curriculum and activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, enrollment, and staff certifications/training
-Support child care staff and assist them in reaching their personal and educational goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (required) in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in child care or education administration
- Experience working with diverse populations of students
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations for NC child care centers
-Strong computer skills, especially use with Microsoft Office
-Positive attitude and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain flexible
