Eagle Ridge Rehabilitative Services is Hiring a Direct Care Provider Near Sheridan, WY
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals in assisted living facilities.
- Provide assistance and supervision to individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and procedures.
- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
