Position Details:
Title: Library Coordinator
Placement (location): White Mountain Middle School
Supervisor: Principal (or designee)
Contract Days: 178 day to begin immediately
Salary Range: $16.21 - $23.04 per hour depending upon verified, previous full time experience in similar position
Position Closing Date: Open until filled, screening to begin as soon as March 30, 2022
Description: The Library/Media Coordinator maintains efficient operation of the library and provides an environment that will encourage student use of materials available for their individual growth and enjoyment. The Library/Media Coordinator also supports staff and student media and technology needs. Opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities or athletics as a coach/ advisor may also be considered. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply. General Expectations:
Plans and executes class schedules for library usage in cooperation with teachers and administration. Supports staff media and technology needs, including, but not limited to, staff meetings, assemblies, assessment and other needs. Responsible for troubleshooting technology, maintaining, tracking and repairing equipment. A desire to collaborate with others, as well as the ability to maintain and adapt existing curricula to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required.In addition, the ideal applicant will demonstrate a passion for helping all students reach their academic growth goals, work collaboratively as a team, show an understanding of high poverty and culturally diverse schools and how to support students equitably and show a willingness to be involved in the community beyond the classroom setting.
