Responsibilities

The Milk Receiver will be the owner of the receiving department which includes receiving and storing raw milk, sugar and palm oil. Receivers are also responsible for cleaning (CIP) and maintaining the Milk, Sugar and Oil storage areas as well as the receiving CIP system in accordance with HSDS PMO Grade A milk requirements. Receivers are the owners of the Antibiotics validation system as well as the Milk and Sugar receiving documentation, including cream loadout logs.

Qualifications

Follow, understand and enforce plant's GMP policies

* Follow, understand and enforce plant's PPE policies 

* Follows all lock-out/tag-out safety procedures

* Understands chemical MSDS, follow and enforce chemical handling procedure.

* Understand the safety precautions that need to be taken for confined space entry

Processing

* Responsible for shift receiving of Milk, Sugar and Palm Oil in accordance with HSDS PMO Grade A milk Requirements.

* Responsible for the correct filling and completion of Antibiotics Logs, which includes reporting any anomalies to Process Lead.

* Responsible for the correct filling and completion of daily milk Log.

* Shall be certified by DSHS Texas in compliance with PMO.

Quality

* Assure, Verify and Validate the correct completion of Preventative Maintenance Routines.

* Assure daily filling and completion of GMP checklist.

Food Safety

* Assure Receiving daily cleaning, Including milk and water leaks as well as prevention, elimination and control of food safety Risks.

* Assure Daily cleaning of sugar receiving area.

* Assure Daily cleaning of Palm Oil receiving area.

* Assure, verify and validate daily cleaning activities according to MSS and GMP practices.

* Generate Maintenance Work Orders (MWO) in accordance to issues related to Food Safety during the shift.

Proactiveness

* The Milk receiver should not be told what to do, as described above, the receiver is the owner of the receiving area and that level of ownership is expected.
