Summary

The Eagle Eye Networks Marketing team is seeking a Senior Manager, Content Marketing to create a streamlined content development workflow that identifies key business goals to create a comprehensive content and communication strategy. As Senior Manager, you will work across the marketing function to develop and strategize necessary content deliverables based on the audience, channel and demographic. This position will be a versatile content creator and manager on our Brand Studio team, overseeing all content deliverables and managing a team of writers and a social media specialist. The Senior Manager, Content Marketing will strategize, create, and manage both long and short-form content, ensuring consistency across all channels such as product launches, marketing campaigns, website, blog, customer success stories, social media, and more.
This is a leadership role based in Austin, TX with the requirement to be in office several days per week managing a team of 3-4.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit web content, email, case studies, articles, white papers , social, and other marketing materials to drive traffic and nurture prospects
• Manage content team and editorial calendar to optimize output and prioritize long and short term projects
• Collaborate with the Marketing Brand Studio team (Director of creative & content, Senior Brand Manager, creative designers, and web developer) and other marketing disciplines including demand generation, product marketing, and partner programs
• Lead the development of content strategy and messaging that aligns with marketing targets across all channels
• Own and execute social strategy redeveloping tone of voice and style across all social channels and executing on all postings
• Collaborate closely with the creative designers to align all assets according to content your team develops
• Generate and publish engaging security industry-specific content
• Copyedit, proofread, and improve upon other writers’ content
• Interview subject matter experts and create compelling content based on information provided
• Ensure brand consistency and company voice
• Optimize website content according to SEO
• Support and manage assigned projects
• Ensure all data and work is legally compliant (e.g. copyright protection)
• Remain current on developments and generate new ideas to improve inbound and outbound marketing

Experience

• Proven work experience as a content manager and writer/editor in high velocity demand generation environment (5-7 years)
• Comprehension of and familiarity with social media and SEO strategies and best practices
• Exceptional writing skills (original content and copyediting)
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with Google Office Suite
• Familiar with CMS publishing platforms (Wordpress or similar) 
• Experience creating content for a global organization
• Time management and organizational expert
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent.
• Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field
• Ability to mentor and coach other marketing team members to improve their writing skills
• Experience in a B2B, SaaS, physical security or AI-product industry a plus
