Summary

Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts for the West US. This role will be responsible for directly leading a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), owning the sales strategy and execution for the Region, and will work, side by side, with other Sales Leaders to achieve and exceed common goals. The region team will sell through a channel of resellers made up of Security and IT Dealers and Integrators. This role is a key expansion role for our company as we continue our strong and impressive growth. The Director will lead and continue to expand, a team of experienced sales professionals; coaching, motivating, and directing all team members ensuring the creation and execution of relevant actionable territory plans, focused results-oriented activities, building and strengthening customer relationships, expanding the number of resellers, and working with partner companies and specifiers as appropriate. The Director of Sales is responsible for ensuring monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales revenue targets are exceeded. The US Director of Sales – West will report to the Vice President of Sales – North America.

Responsibilities

  • Build a formidable team of Regional Sales Managers (RSM) through constant evaluation of individual performance, and hiring skilled and company-fit personnel as needed
  • Continuously coach, motivate, and focus the RSMs, ensuring their continuous growth and development
  • Set the overall vision and annual sales and revenue plan for the Region supporting the company’s strategy and objectives
  • In conjunction with the RSMs, develop annual regional sales plans 
  • Manage all resources in your responsibility to maximize the return on investment
  • Provide input and direction to other sales personnel who interact with the direct regional team ensuring a cohesive, results-oriented sales plan and execution.
  • Hold monthly reviews to ensure regional plans are executed and updated as needed
  • Travel extensively within the region to customer sites and industry events promoting and expanding Eagle Eye’s presence, image, and revenue
  • Travel frequently with the RSMs providing mentoring and coaching
  • Ensure all company and department policies are executed and adhered to
  • Become an expert on Eagle Eye solutions and offerings
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization ensuring the needs of our customers, our employees, and the company are met
  • Grow each assigned region exceeding annual performance goals year after year through strong account planning, customer needs determination, and understanding and matching those needs with our offerings and relentless action to promote Eagle Eye within the region
  • Develop marketing initiatives and annual plans with the marketing team to promote Eagle Eye within the region

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Always maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics
  • 10 years of Video/Security/Technology experience with 5 years in sales leadership
  • Considerable experience working with and selling to/through resellers
  • Experience selling and leading in a CRM environment
  • Superior presentation skills presenting to large and small groups
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Availability to travel >50% of the time
  • College Degree or relevant equivalency
