Eagle Distributing is seeking a self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail to work in the warehouse, pull orders and load trucks.
The person selected to fill this position will be expected to learn the skills needed to safely and effectively pull a customer’s order from the warehouse, stage it, obtain verification and then load each truck in a manner that will ensure the accuracy of each customer’s order. New members of the Warehouse team work closely with more experienced team members and the managers to learn the skills needed to be successful, and will learn and comply with the Warehouse procedures and policies and all quality control standards. All team members are expected to participate in cleaning and organizing the Warehouse each night after the shift.
This position is accountable for the rotation, order-pulling, and loading of all products, including adherence to first-in, first-out inventory methods, to ensure inventory accuracy and product freshness.
We’re seeking a reliable individual who has good work habits, including safe work practices, good attendance and punctuality, the ability to work well and get along with others, and the ability to learn and apply new skills.

Note: Duties of all positions may be adjusted as needed to meet business objectives.
Qualified candidates will be able to lift up to 60 pounds repetitiously. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse environment and will also have prior forklift experience. Experience with a voice picking system would be a plus.

Budweiser was introduced to Eastern Tennessee in the mid 1880s. It was delivered by a variety of distributors including companies whose primary business was food, other beverages, and even pharmaceuticals. Following Prohibition, several companies distributed Anheuser-Busch products until 1946 when Smoky Mountain Beverage, owned by Charles Brown, took total control from Royal Crown Bottling. In 1958 the distributorship was sold to E.L. Tipton, who renamed the enterprise Tipton Distributing Company. He built a new warehouse facility which is still the home of current company operations. His fami...ly held the franchise until 1983, when Raymond D. Hand purchased the company and rechristened it Eagle Distributing Company, Inc. Owner and President of Eagle Distributing Company, Ray Hand was introduced into the malt beverage industry at a very young age. His early start was truly a family affair. Ray worked with his brother, Charles, at their fathers distributing company in Clarksville, Tennessee. Oertles 92 was the most popular brand at that time. Some years later, Anheuser-Busch products were acquired and added to the product line. After continuing his higher education, Ray started a successful uniform laundry business, but decided that his future was in the beer industry.
