Part-Time: 32 hours per 2 week pay period

Available Shifts:Days of the week may vary and will include varied weekends and holidays. Thesepositions enjoy every other weekend and every other holiday off!

Cook Assistant

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Cook Assistant to joinour top-notch culinary team at our Eagle Crest South facility. The CookAssistant will provide a high-quality dining experience for residents by notonly cooking but serving attractive and nutritious meals.

What You’ll Do

• Duties include quantity cooking, dish room duties,cleaning duties, serving resident’s meals, restocking and other kitchenresponsibilities.
• Responsible for the daily preparation offresh-made recipes such as salads, sandwiches and other Bistro items, as wellas stocking items in the Bistro area as needed
• Preparing supplies for cooking line andrestocking diminished stock as needed, assist with baking and preparingdesserts

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate meatslicer.
• Ability to multitask is a must
• Comfortability working in a fast-pacedenvironment
• Quantity cooking experience, a plus but notrequired
• One year of cooking experience in a long-termcare, hospital, or restaurant setting preferred but not required; We will trainthe right fit for our team!
• Valid driver's license with clean drivingrecord; this position will occasionally require transporting meals to othercommunities.

Our Wages

• Our starting rate is between $16.00 and $18.00per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
• We pay for high performance! We will review yourwage at 100 days.
