Overview: We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors. Duties: - Perform commercial and industrial cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Dust and wipe down surfaces - Clean windows and mirrors - Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper - Perform floor care duties including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing - Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor - Adhere to health and safety regulations Requirements: - Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred - Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time - Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
