Media Content Creator

POSITION SUMMARY
Produces media projects as assigned, keeping them moving through all aspects of production and delivering them in a timely manner. Primarily partners with the Communications and Digital team, owning and executing digital video and photography project assignments. Reports to Lead Media Content Creator.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produces video and photography content for Eagle Brook social media and digital channels
• Conceives, coordinates, shoots, and edits media content
• Helps identify and implement opportunities for media integration in communication and digital strategies
• Covers and creates weekend content for quick turnaround marketing purposes
• Works expertly on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
• Keeps projects moving through all aspects of production (pre-production, production, post-production)
• Maintains an efficient schedule and process throughout the creation of media assets
• Keeps up to date on technical skills, cameras, gear, editing software, etc.
• Builds strategies and content that attract and engage with targeted audiences
• Researches and maintains creative ideas and current techniques
• Assists others on team projects as called upon
• Communicates effectively with Communications and Digital teams to ensure projects goals are achieved
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in film, TV, fine arts, or other forms of media production preferred
• Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
• 2 years of digital content or related experience
• Highly skilled storyteller
• Experience in post-production (editing, motion graphics, coloring, audio, etc.) using the Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge and experience with digital cameras (Canon, Sony, Panasonic, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience in field production techniques, standards, and equipment

WORK SCHEDULE

Generally, Monday-Friday at the Central office located in Centerville, MN. Occasional evenings and weekends

Classification: Exempt; Salary // Status: Full-Time // Team: Central Creative
