Global Finance Resident Attorney

Salary: up to $135,000

An AmLaw 200 firm's Global Finance Practice Group is seeking a resident attorney to be based in the Boston, MA office. The team is involved in some of the most innovative financial and securities transactions, and some of the most publicized litigation and bankruptcies in the securitization and bond markets.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrably strong interest in one or more of the following legal disciplines: corporate finance, real estate finance, commercial finance, securities, municipal finance, securitization, or structured finance. This individual will boast exceptional academic credentials, demonstrate superb judgment, and possess excellent communication skills. A commitment to providing outstanding client service is paramount.

Through the Resident Attorney program, the firm provides an opportunity for candidates with less traditional backgrounds to develop their legal skills by gaining meaningful work experience. Resident attorneys complete a 12-month apprenticeship with a heavy emphasis on training, education, and mentorship. After their first year in the program, resident attorneys may choose to renew their participation for another 6 months to a year, join the firm's attorney ranks, or pursue other opportunities outside the firm.

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary for this position in Boston, MA is up to $135,000.
