EAC Consulting is Hiring a Transportation Planner Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

EAC is hiring a Transportation Planner to work in our Florida Transportation Practice. This position can be based in our Fort Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm Beach or Central Florida office.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with our Transportation team leading and performing a transportation planning -related tasks including:

  • Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline transportation planning and environmental compliance projects.
  • Prepare, plan and analyze compliance documents.
  • Coordinate with others in completion of required studies, documents and reports.
  • Demonstrate public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience.
  • Participate in design development and contract document work sessions in conjunction with appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines.
  • Metropolitan transportation planning.
  • Other various transportation and traffic related tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering or a related field. (AICP certification a plus)
  • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience with transportation planning and design
  • CADD and GIS skills
  • Knowledge of transportation planning and local, state, and federal programs and principles
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
