Summary of Position
This is a multifaceted skilled trades position. The General Laborer will be responsible for overseeing and performing tasks in multiple but smaller departments. Tasks include mechanical repairs, welding, and non-CDL driving.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform light mechanical work on equipment.
- Diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance on equipment.
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
- Assist with delivering equipment rentals to various customer locations in company-owned vehicles.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
- Inspect welds for accuracy.
- Clean, organize, and maintain the shop and shop equipment. Required Skills
- Familiar with pressure washers.
- Ability to perform MIG and Stick Welds.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time and performing physical requirements of the position.
- Familiar with hand tools, plasma cutters, and cutting torches.
- Alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
