E-PLEX is an education complex that provides multiple academic and enrichment programs. Our Diamond Bar branch includes afterschool, art, music, science, and college counseling. Currently, we are looking for a Middle School Teacher for Summer Camp.

Job requirements:

• Experience working with middle school students: at least 2 years(preferred)
• Management, organizational, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher (required)
• Able to teach math and English subjects (required)
• Teaching license/certification (HIGHLY preferred)

Job duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Check and correct student workbooks
• Give clear instruction and guidance regarding topics learned in school
• Support students' emotional/social well-being and enhance their academic performance
• Implement good behavior and good classroom management.
• Create an environment of high expectations for learning, student behavior, and staff professionalism
• Communicate regularly with the Director or parents/guardians (by Director's request) regarding student progress and any concerns
• Under the guidance of the Director or other assigned staff, implement regular assessments and analyze student performance to monitor student progress
• Submit weekly reports on E-PLEX mobile application

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time (Possibility: opportunity for continued employment after summer camp)

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (subject to change based on experience and credentials)
