This position is vital to the overall operation of E J Reynolds Company ensuring a timely and efficient machining process. The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the tooling needs of machinist, purchasing tools, scheduling, inventory management and oversight of tooling standards.

Duties:

· Read blueprints or job specifications to determine most efficient tool required to meet customer’s needs and EJR quality standards.

· Monitor MSC Tool Crib, managing inventory and logging tool distribution.

· provide support and setting tools up for machinists

· Tooling inspections to maintain machine accuracy

· Evaluate tooling condition regularly and develop budgeted plan for tooling spending

· Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of high product

· Maintain communication with tooling suppliers and venders to emphasize the need for competitive pricing

· Disposal of broken, damaged, and ineffective tools, and or send for repair

· Maintaining warranty records for tools; requesting manufacture/vendor to replace items that wear out within the warranty period

· Maintain a clean and hazard free work area

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
