Chester County Operations We Serve Joy!

Chester County Operations is Hiring Team Leader for Warehouse Operations, 2nd Shift.

Summary :

  • Shift : 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3 : 30p - 12 : 00a
  • Responsible for individual and team development, quality performance, cost parameters, and service to customers (internal and external).

Responsible for a team of individuals with varying levels of experience and education. The Team Leader has experience in operations, manufacturing, distribution and supply chain processes and leads team members through resolving problems and improving performance.

Essential Functions :

Leadership

  • Directs team on day to day operations.
  • Works cross functionally to ensure completion of daily work.
  • Coaches, mentors and develops team members. Participates in team member assessments; conducts 1 : 1 meetings with team members.
  • Participates in interviews for talent selection and makes candidate recommendations.
  • Supports change within the organizational area.
  • Recommends goals with and for team members to support business and personal development.

Compliance, Regulatory and Safety

  • Understands company policy related to Environmental, Health and Safety.
  • Responsible for understanding and executing against all environmental permit and regulatory conditions within area of responsibility.
  • Ensures GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Understands the collective bargaining agreement (if applicable) and employee handbook and maintains compliance within outlined boundaries.
  • Teaches and coaches team members on safe work practices and company safety and food safety policies. Ensures compliance with polices.

Technical Expertise

  • Learns process and equipment used in area of responsibility.
  • Learns and practices LEAN principles.
  • Enforces standard work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and quality.
  • Understand the policies and practices associated with managing impact of change including Notice of Change (NOC) and Management of Change (MOC) and manages the impact of change.

Budget Responsibility

  • Understands budget requirements and fundamentals of basic budgeting, and tools to monitor trends.
  • Provides input in budget planning, adheres to budget to include daily crewing and staffing from shift to shift, and materials usage.
  • Performs weekly reconciliation, weekly trends analysis and counter measure development.

General

  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR
  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of supervisory / managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR
  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of military operations experience to include leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to work any assigned shift, as scheduled.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and / or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation :

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted : $60,300 - $90,360 / per year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
