Position Description

Reporting to the Vice President, the Renewable General Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and profitable operations of E-J Electric’s renewable energy business on a regional scale in the Northeast. The primary objective is to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental practices, insure profitable and reliable operations and the growth of the business. All business operations, P&L control, implementation, and developments for this line of business will be the responsibility of the General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and own your division
• Provide turn-key solution
• Maintain client relationships
• Estimating oversight throughout the project lifecycle
• Liaise with field supervision
• Budgeting and P&L responsibilities
• Maximizing efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans
• Tracking goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies
• Ability to run a business unit inside a larger organization

Qualifications

• Strong experience of the energy sector including wind, solar, battery energy storage, and all other associated renewable and conventional power
• Demonstrated leadership competencies
• Positive attitude and highly motivated team player
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and understand architectural and electrical drawings, interpret schedules, bid data
• Minimum of 15 years renewable, financial, and electrical experience
• Familiarity with NEC
• Practical knowledge of EPC project delivery methods
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, knowledge of Access, EMQUE, Procore, Revit, Trimble software is a plus
• Have existing renewable contacts, vendors & subcontractors

Annual Salary Range: $115,000 to $160,000
