E Healthcare Solutions is Hiring a Remote Vice President, Digital Publisher Development

Description

E-Healthcare Solutions is a leading provider of digital advertising to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. We represent over 400 healthcare web sites including prominent brands such as the, American Academy of Dermatology, Drugs.com, TrendMD and many others. We also represent a number of disease specific consumer web-sites such as Aids.org, Healingwell.com, FamilyDoctor.org, and others.

eHealthcare Solutions is currently seeking a VP, Digital Publisher Development to further grow the network of publishing partners we represent. We are seeking someone with an experienced track record in growing businesses through networking, consultative selling, with at least 5 years’ experience in digital media and technology and extensive contacts throughout the health and medical publishing space. Position will be measured on the individual’s ability and success to create publisher pipeline and assist in securing contractual representation commitments from new Publishers as well as renewing existing accounts. 

Responsibilities include: 

· Growing our business through securing new publishing partnerships

· Overseeing, managing and maintaining our existing publishing partner relationships

· Expanding our publisher offerings and gaining adoptions of new products and services with both new and existing partners. 

· Mentoring and managing a small team to help achieve our growth goals, while taking lead in maintaining key accounts and selling new key accounts. 

Skills requirements include: 

· Relationship and network building: Strong relationships among the medical society, association and publishing industry as well as digital consumer-focused healthcare websites and mobile apps. 

· Existing network of contacts in digital publishing required.

· Experience selling technology services and/or advertising support services into digital publisher decision makers.

· A deep understanding of both the online professional and consumer digital publishing marketplaces, challenges faced, and current trends and state of affairs.

· Evaluating, modeling, analyzing and prioritizing successful new business opportunities. Formulating data supported recommendations and proposals for new opportunities. 

· While fully supported with operational technical talent, this position requires a strong working knowledge of digital ad operations. Digital native a plus. 

· Candidate should be numbers and performance oriented and knowledgeable about, and eager to understand and improve upon sales metrics and growth drivers.

· Candidate should be results-oriented and able to plan and manage projects according to a timeline. This role reports directly to department head and CEO. 

· Passionate and knowledgeable about the Internet and technology

· Excellent judgment and relationship skills

· At least 5 years of related experience in the online health or medical publishing worlds.

VP, New Business Development is responsible for:

· Sourcing new digital inventory for our advertising sales team to monetize through securing new exclusive long-term publisher representation agreements.

· Achieving a target goal of net new annual publishing revenues. 

· Gaining network and publisher adoption on new revenue generating products and services, and overcoming external challenges, through relationship building and political navigation at each publishing partner. 

Bonuses and performance payments are established based net new revenue production through secured representation agreements. 

Departmental management responsibilities:

o Hiring, mentoring and managing direct publisher development managers (currently two direct report, with team expanding as success milestones are achieved) 

o Working closely with and supporting the internal advertising sales team to educate on publishing partners new revenue opportunities. 

o Introducing and educating publishers on new revenue producing offerings and convince publishers to innovate and explore prescreened product/service ideas that come from the field as well as custom revenue generating opportunities. 

o Working with existing internal and external product development teams to develop, improve and execute on new products and offerings designed to maximize publisher revenues.

o Overseeing timely and accurate implementation of new publishing partners. 

Strategic role: 

o Visualize, evaluate and model new business opportunities beyond standard offerings

o Present data supported new business opportunities to management for funding

o Successfully launch and gain adoption of new publishing products to existing and new partners.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required (Business, Advertising, Marketing, Publishing). 

· Minimum 5 years related work experience required – preferably digital, online advertising, direct marketing or e-commerce industries.

· Pharmaceutical and healthcare experience is a plus

· Strong analytical and business skills a must.

· Proven track record of successful entrepreneurial success.

· Strong leader with vision and the ability to motivate others.

· Extensive client/partner management experience, superb customer service skills and excellent organization and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.

· Creative, positive, friendly, resourceful, team-oriented successful attitude.

· Passion for online marketing and technology, and experience creating and/or executing online marketing campaigns.

· Advanced knowledge in MS office suite products, especially Excel & Powerpoint.

· Deep familiarity and passion for Internet, mobile and technology.

· Burning desire for continuous learning and improvement

· Insistent on high quality production and results
