SUMMARY
A Batch manufacturer prepares materials for production processing according to specifications and established procedures. Obtains materials from inventory and utilizes scales and other measuring devices to accurately weigh the various components. The Employee also assists in all aspects of the production warehouse that can include packing and shipping. In addition, the qualified person mixes, disperses and converts raw materials into a finished product.
This is accomplished by performing the following duties.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This position requires that the incumbent be physically able to lift and move up to 75 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lead and direct other personnel at work-station.
Able to multi-task and perform several tasks at the same time and keep several pieces of equipment running at the same time.
Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour
Schedule: 7am-4pm M-F
