Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining the property, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Advertise and show available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment from tenants
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and in compliance with safety standards
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, tenant interactions, and financial transactions
- Stay up-to-date with local laws and regulations pertaining to rental properties
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes and procedures
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively address tenant concerns or disputes
- Experience working with Section 8 housing programs is preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
