Role: Cost Accountant
Location: Tukwila, WA
Job type: Full Time/Permanent
Position Summary
The Cost Accountant will perform advanced cost accounting analyses to compare estimated costs to actual costs and prepare a variety of related budget reports. The role requires collaboration within the accounting team as well as with various groups of the operations and sales teams.
Qualifications
· 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
· Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations with GAAP experience required.
· High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
· Must demonstrate ability to meet financial deadlines.
· Must be proficient in utilizing and interpreting financial models and analyses.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Expert Microsoft Office skills to include Excel and related computer applications

Pay: $64,406.62 - $77,564.96 per year
