Job: Senior Data Architect

Location: Alpharetta, GA / Chicago, IL - Any 2 Days onsite (Tue to Fri) and 3 days remote

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Architect to lead our data architecture efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our organization's data infrastructure to support business goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, database technologies, and information management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the organization's data architecture strategy and roadmap.

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions to meet business requirements.

• Define data standards, policies, and best practices for data management and governance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.

• Lead data modeling efforts to design logical and physical data models.

• Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and tools to support business needs.

• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all data assets.

• Define and implement data integration and ETL processes to enable seamless data flow across systems.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to data engineering teams.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and analytics.

• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive datadriven decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of X years of experience in data architecture or related roles.

• Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts and tools (e.g., ER win, ER/Studio).

• Expertise in database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

. • Hands-on experience with data warehouse and data lake architectures.

• Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
