Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
• Ensure that architecture will support the requirements of the business and industry practices.
• Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics, and BI systems.
• Conduct data modeling, analysis, and mining.
• Utilize Azure cloud services: Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, Stream Analytics, Cosmos DB, and other services to build scalable and high-performance data solutions.
• Comply with data security and privacy policies and understand data governance.
• Develop batch & real-time analytical solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept for selected solutions.
• Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes.
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field; a master s is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with Azure cloud services: ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databases, Databricks, etc.
• Experience with SQL database design and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Scala, etc.
