Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic equipment. Your expertise in low voltage systems, computer networking, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in performing your duties effectively. Jr. Electrical Engineer (or electronics technician).
Duties:
- Trouble shooting to component level
- STRONG SOLDERING SKILLS, TRHU HOLE AND SURFACE MOUNT COMPONENTS,
- EXCELENT MATH SKILLS
- USE OF ELECTRONIC METER TOOLS, MULTIMETER,OSCILOSCOPE,ABILITY TO READ SCHEMATICS
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for repairing electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components
- Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron
- Write reports and record data on testing techniques and specifications to assist engineers
- Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools
- Work to given schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Required Skills
- Associate's degree in electronics technology. or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
- 1-2 years experience in related field
- Fundamental understanding of AC and DC circuits, and a strong background in digital electronics and microprocessors
- Ablity to perform component level troubleshooting independently.
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering and crimping in addition to electronics training.
- Should be able to work and interact with all levels of personnel.
- Proficient in MS office ( Excel and Word)
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, computer networking, and mechanical principles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
