Electronic Detonator Sales Specialist, Dyno Nobel Inc., Salt Lake City, UT:
Provide product specialist knowledge and system support for Dyno Nobel's Electronic Initiation Systems to customers. Provide internal and external stakeholders with learning from previous experiences with electronic delay detonators particularly with regards to customer selection, conversion methodologies, value propositions and benefit studies. Provide training and technical support for electronic initiation systems, Digishot and Digishot Plus, in both surface and underground operations. Provide training support for the trial and implementation of Shot Point Tracker used for logging seismic holes. Provide expertise on emulsion chemistry and explosives formulations for bulk and packaged products. Provide explosives regulations support to customer sites to ensure compliance of licensed facility. Conduct all initial trials, demonstration, and test blasts with Dyno Nobel's Electronic Initiation Systems. Direct, coordinate, and advise personnel in test procedures for analyzing components or physical properties of materials. Where possible, rectify specific technical difficulties, faults and underperformance of the system and report on and enter issues into the "customer dissatisfaction report" system. Provide accurate and informed feedback to control equipment and detonator product designers and developers to ensure continuous improvement in design. Act as a key resource for new conversions. Train and certify trainers/end users of EIS systems, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures relating to the use of the product. Represent the face of Dyno Nobel to customers and end users, always ensuring that a high level of credibility that enhances the value of the EIS brand. Give technical presentations to customers and internal and external stakeholders. Train customers with in-depth safety knowledge to use technology safely and correctly in line with manuals and SOPs.
100% telecommuting permitted. Candidates may reside/live anywhere in the United States.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in the following:
Domestic travel required up to 60% of the time.
