**Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery to support our operations. **Responsibilities:** - Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed - Place purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery - Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels - Develop and implement strategies for cost-effective purchasing **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field - Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role - Familiarity with AS400, MRP systems, Oracle EBS, or similar software - Strong understanding of logistics, inventory control, and production planning - Excellent negotiation and communication skills This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued.
