Dynamite 2 is a small business in Gaithersburg, MD. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where kids develop valuable social and life skills through gymnastics, cheer and tumbling.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Gymnastics Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position absolutely loves teaching children and finds it easy to develop a rapport with them. Patience and passion is a must. We are looking for someone who values a positive culture that is fun and team-focused (with free coffee). Don't know a lot about gymnastics? We are happy to train a special candidate whose personality fits and who will be an asset to our team.

Classes are weekdays from 3:30 - 7:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am - 2pm. We offer flexibility in choosing work days; however, at least one weekend morning and two weekdays is preferred. Pay is commensurate with experience. We offer bonuses based on work ethic, team support and adherence to job responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Care about your students and teach them to care about others
• Ensure safety of students during class
• Motivate and encourage students to reach their goals
• Demonstrate and teach gymnastics skills
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Speak confidently and encouragingly to parents
• Find the best fit for your students (even if it's not in your class)
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Complete basic administrative responsibilities
• Take your job seriously (kids are counting on you)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
