Dynamic Systems Technology is Hiring a Senior Project Manager Near Washington, DC

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Recruiting Command’s (CGRC) mission is to find, attract, process, track, and report metrics associated with accessing qualified applicants into the USCG. The CGRC is responsible for managing the accession of the USCG’s enlisted, officer, and reserve workforce. The purpose of this contract is to provide administrative support services for each of the USCG’s Recruiting Offices that will augment the military recruiter workforce.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Program Manager is responsible to oversee the day-to-day operation of the USCG Recruiting Admin Support program.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to oversee the day-to-day operation of the USCG Recruiting Admin Support program.
  • Lead CGRC Recruiting Office administration support at the 65 established recruiting offices.
  • Manage teams that provide Office Performance Management support with a focus on tracking and reporting Recruiting Office performance.
  • Oversee provision of administrative support with the focus of reducing the Recruiting Office administrative burden.
  • Lead project team to provide information technology support and a range of strategic and tactical communications support.
  • Manage, direct, and mentor subordinate staff; communicate job expectations and enforce organizational policies, procedures and core values; responsible for conducting performance reviews and implementing disciplinary measures.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, client, and other departments involved in the project.
  • Ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience
    • A minimum of ten years’ experience in positions of leadership, program/project management, business management, Government invoices, and/or human resources.
    • A minimum of three years’ experience working with government contracts.
    • Experience as a recruiter, preferably as a recruiter for the Coast Guard
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field

JOB TYPE:

  • This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be able to commute to the Washington, D.C. area mulitple times per month.
  • This is a civilian position and does not require enlistment.
