**Location**: Nashville, TN

**Hours**: 20 hours/week between Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

**Salary**: $16.00 - $18.50 merit increase eligible twice annually

**Purpose & Summary**: Our team of Electronics Technicians perform testing, refurbishing, sorting, and asset tracking of electronic devices that may be eligible for resale. As well as tear down, sorting, and categorizing of 1-50 pound electronic devices. Materials handled range from small tablets, up to commercial servers, and everything in between From cell phones to corporate servers, our Techs conduct testing to ensure devices are performing to internal standards, and maintain spreadsheets of data collected. With a keen eye for potential, Techs independently determine whether a device is salvageable, or should be referred to our recycling team.

Other day-to-day responsibilities may include:

* Meeting and exceeding daily production goals with a quality focus

* Hard drive data sanitization

* Testing electronic devices for quality

* Sorting like devices and commodities

* Accurately entering data in an electronic production tracker

* Conducting work in a safe manner within company policy

* Disassembling electronic equipment

**Requirements & Qualifications**: For consideration, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a basic understanding of computer hardware. Previous fast pace work experience is preferred, and standout candidates may also have post-secondary education in a tech related field.

Additional requirements include:

* Ability to continuously exert 20 pounds of force, up to 50 pounds occasionally

* Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

* Proficient use of a computer and keyboard for data entry

* Ability to operate independently with a strong work ethic, contributing to team goals
