Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors
- Ensure the well-being of each child, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
- Monitor children's behavior and implement appropriate behavior management techniques
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, babysitting, or daycare experience
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for children of different ages
- Ability to provide a safe and clean environment for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- CPR and First Aid certification required
Additional Skills:
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
- Ability to create a structured and educational environment for young learners
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
