Description

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions.
• Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software. 
• Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs.
• Maintains open communication and positive working relationships with staff. 
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned and review invoices and identify cuts that can be made to current services.
• Work with vendors to clean up services, perform research and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems. 
• Assist users in determining appropriate software solutions to meet needs.
• Provide user training for basic hardware and software use. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled at a college/university with a major in Information Technology/Computer Science and maintain a 2.5/4.0 average.
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11), - Mac helpful but not required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office O365.
• Basic understanding of a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Good understanding of computer hardware 
• Basic understanding of how computer networks work. 
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment. 
• Must be detail oriented and keep good records.
• Ability to seek out solutions independently
