Description

As the Electrical Assistant, you will support our business by assisting Electricians with installations, maintenance, and material coordination of electrical systems. This position requires a focus on safety awareness and protocol and working to the Dvele Standard.

Qualifications

• Assist with the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment

• Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables

• Drill holes for wiring and pull wiring through opening

• Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring

• Connect electrical systems to power lines

• Gather tools and supplies to be used at work site

• Ensure piping complies with electrical codes

• Test and troubleshoot system problems, help resolve electrical issues as needed

• Inspect work and ensure quality is maintained throughout all steps of the project

• Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and free of unnecessary debris

• Other job duties as assigned

Education & Certifications:

• A High School diploma or GED credential is preferred

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical work or a related industry is required

• Must be able to lift, move, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects of at least 75 pounds

• Work near moving mechanical parts and commercial machinery

• Communicate and exchange accurate information clearly with others.

• Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals

• Work in areas in excess of 10 ft above the ground

• Frequent exposure to high noise levels
