We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. The Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses in a manufacturing environment.

Incumbent(s):
Job Summary/Purpose:
Operate 12-Unit, Goss Urbanite Offset Press. Work with current crew of experienced press operators to print daily newspapers as well as commercial printing jobs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Staging paper rolls, setting ink, adjusting various equipment on the fly during press runs, performing daily maintenance and cleanup.

Competencies/Critical Skills:
Self-starter, prompt and punctual, able to follow detailed directions, mechanically inclined, and able to lift, push or pull 75 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.25 - $24.39 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Operate 12-Unit, Goss Urbanite Offset Press: 1 year (Preferred)
- press operators to print daily newspapers: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Jacksonville, IL (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Jacksonville, IL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
