Responsibilities:
As a Coating Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the powder coating process of our metal products. Key duties include:
- Applying powder coating to metal products, adhering to production standards
- Hanging products onto the overhead conveyor with precision
- Cleaning booth as required for color changes
- Inspecting products for defects and promptly reporting non-standard conditions
- Maintaining a consistent pace according to job production standards
- Following safety procedures, including the proper use of equipment and reporting unsafe conditions
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Collaborating effectively with team members, supporting a positive and productive work environment
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manual dexterity and physical ability to handle products, load them onto overhead conveyor lines, and perform inspections
- Ability to follow directions accurately and apply paint products with precision
- Capability to lift or move materials weighing up to 40 lbs
- Efficient work ethic in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals of diverse abilities and backgrounds
- Successful completion of a medical questionnaire and fitting for a respirator (no facial hair due to respirator program)
