A well established Jacksonville Beach Land Survey company is looking for experienced (or teachable), dependable Field Crew Personnel - Senior and Jr Party Chief positions available.

Senior Party Chief Required Skills (JR Party Chief's we're willing to TEACH these skills):

• Experienced in leading a survey crew (mostly 2 member crews)
• Must be able to provide accurate, detailed, and legible field notes
• Ability to read and understand: surveys, building plans, site plans, plats, tax panels, legal descriptions, etc.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM field calculations
• Knowledgeable in various types of surveying: boundary, tree, topographic, ALTA, As-built's, construction staking, etc.
• Must be able to make field survey decisions on boundary surveys
• Experience with TDS is a plus, but not required
• Experience using electronic data collectors, GPS, and other surveying equipment (Trimble, Spectra Precision Rangers, robot, GPS and Topcon/Nikon Total Stations)
• Ensure efficient and timely completion of duties with little or no supervision
• Surveying during construction including construction staking and preparing as-built drawing, as well as surveying private/residential properties
• Must have valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record. All applicants must have reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

• This job operates mainly outdoors and occasionally in an office environment.

Physical Demands:

This is a physically demanding position; such as project site walking, boundary line staking, cutting line and standard surveying work.

• Ability to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urban surroundings
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds
• Regularly walk, stand, crouch or stoop; frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Walk over rough, uneven, or slippery surfaces
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements such as sun, rain, wetlands, harsh Florida heats, etc.
• Ability to travel up and down ladders, or over fences for field work
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
