Duraco Specialty Tapes LLC #150831 is Hiring a Cost Accountant Near Forest, IL
- Assist in the creation and review of all Capex project proposals.
- Determine current asset stage.
- Routinely communicate to track the progress and launch date for the asset to go into service.
- Develop Labor and O/H rates for standard costing.
- Monitor and update raw material standard costs where necessary.
- Establish standard costs for newly created parts. (Daily)
- Update and or correct standard costs in the other warehouses.
- Periodically review Inventory listing for reasonableness.
- Investigate and correct any transaction that misstates the inventory balances.
- Review Cycle counts for reasonableness.
- Physical inventory test counts.
- Review and reconcile GRNI.
- Validate I/C pricing with Customer Care
- Lead quarterly/yearly internal inventory audit and/or full physical count.
- Formulate budget for various costs of goods sold, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Download sales data for the month. Reconcile it to the P&L. Book all sales adjustments and corresponding cost of sales adjustments.
- Update all Inventory reserve files and book appropriate changes to reserve account.
- Bachelor’s degree required in either accounting or finance.
- 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience as Cost Accountant
- Experience within a growth, outcome based and execution focused organization is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial results into operational recommendations.
- Previous experience with managing fixed assets reports a plus.
