Job Summary

The Venjakob Operator is responsible for operating, loading, unloading and inspecting product on the Venjakob Machine.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares set-up for Venjakob machine.
• Verifies product meets specifications during production runs.
• Finishes product on Venjakob based on direction from Special Finish Manager.
• Ensures finished parts are distributed to the proper location after each run.
• Informs maintenance personnel and Special Finish Manager of finish inefficiencies and finish needs.
• Provides material requirements list to Special Finish Manager.
• Maintains logbooks and reports for items produced on Venjakob machine.
• Trains other to assists in operation of machine and proper handling of equipment and parts.
• Cleans machine on a scheduled basis.
• Responsible for complete operation of the Venjakob machine and Prime Heat ovens.
• Participates and contributes to a Work Team Environment and follows Quality Control checks.
• Follows all Safety Rules and contributes to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Education, Training or Experience

• High School education or up to one-month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shop Environment

Employees must be able to cope with climates; endure heat and cold conditions in the shop. Fast paced workloads and high noise levels are normal. Paint fumes and exposure to chemicals associated with an industrial paint department may be present. Personal Protective Equipment as required by OSHA will be provided by the Company.
